There are not a lot of reviews online for the Body Champ BRB5200 Programmable Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike. Unfortunately, the reviews that we did find online are quite bad. There was one positive review from someone that ruptured their Achilles tendon and used the Body Champ BRB5200 to rehab their leg.
They said that the seat and back are well padded, they liked the wide feet at the base of the machine because they provide stability and they also liked the easy-to-use programs. This person said that the Body Champ BRB5200 Programmable Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike compares favorably to $600 models that he has tried.
The unfortunate part is that this one reviewer seems to be on an island all by himself because all of the other reviewers are calling the Body Champ BRB5200 Programmable Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike a piece of junk (or worse).
A number of reviewers said that the bike worked well for a few months but then things started to go wrong. One person said that after a few months the bike started making a clunking noise every time he pedaled. The noise got progressively worse until they disassembled the pedal mechanism and found that the rings and ball bearings were falling apart and jamming the pedal mechanism.
Another reviewer said that after a few months the monitor started flashing an error message. Another reviewer stated that after just three weeks the bike simply shut down and at first it showed an error message but now it does absolutely nothing.
Although we were not able to find a lot of reviews online there were more than enough negative comments for the Body Champ BRB5200 Programmable Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike to make it clear to us that you would be better off going with a different bike.
There are a number of other bikes in a similar price range that received much better reviews online so if you are considering purchasing the Body Champ BRB5200 Programmable Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike we would recommend that you keep shopping and try a different bike instead.
